Hey everybody, my name is DJ Smith, and I’m going to walk you through a quick tip in CadnaA. I want to show you a fast way to open up your tables, more specifically, your object tables. So first, what is a table? If you go up to the menu ribbon and click the tables dropdown, you can see all the tables that you can open from your object trees to result tables to your cabinet a object tables. In this model, we have a lot of different roads. We can find out a little bit more information about the road by double clicking on it. That gives us the name of the road, traffic count. But we could only see these things one at a time by clicking on them. If we go to tables, sources, and then roads, we can see all the same information organized a little bit neater.
But there’s a really fast way to get to the table I just opened. If I hold down alt and then go to the road object in the CadnaA toolbox here, click it, that table opens up. Super simple. This saves you a few button clicks. It’s a really fast way to get to the information that you need.
