NorVirtual is a freeware program for viewing and controlling Norsonic’s Nor140, Nor145, and Nor150 sound level meters on a PC, Android, or Apple device. Regardless of the view displayed on the sound level meter (graphs, menus, tables, etc.), the same view will appear on the PC or handheld device. On the PC version, users can use the mouse to interact with the virtual keyboard.
Connection to the PC can be made using a USB cable (Nor 140/145/150), ethernet cable (Nor145/150), through a local WIFI network (Nor145/150), or by setting up an access point available in the Nor145’s internal WIFI webserver. Connection to the NorVirtual App can be made by connecting the Nor145 or Nor150 and the handheld device to the same local WIFI network, connecting the sound level meter to the handheld device’s hotspot or by setting up an access point available on the Nor145’s internal WIFI webserver.
The app is used for remote control of sound intensity measurements using the Nor150 also has limited support as remote control for the Nor282 power amplifier and the Nor265A microphone boom.
Users can remotely control their compatible Norsonic devices from a distance, including starting and stopping of measurements.
