This 5-meter microphone extension cable positions the microphone farther from the sound level meter body, minimizing sound diffraction and operator interference for more accurate measurements at a distance. It connects between the preamplifier and the main unit and is required when mounting an All-Weather Windscreen for outdoor or remote setups.
