The Nor1527 Impedance Tube is an acoustic measurement system used to measure transmission loss and acoustical impedance, or absorption, in materials. It has been designed to be in compliance with standards ASTM E-2611, ASTM E-1050, and ISO 10534-2.
Using two different diameter tubes, 100mm and 30mm the system covers a full measurement range of 50Hz – 6400Hz.
Normal Incidence Transmission Loss – ASTM E2611 (4 Pole Transfer Matrix Method) measurement method
Sound Absorption – ASTM E1050 and ISO 10534-2 (Transfer Function Method) measurement method
