The VM-83 is a high quality, versatile vibration meter that can be used with an extremely wide range of sensors.
The VM-83 is a high quality, versatile vibration meter that can be used with an extremely wide range of sensors.
The VM-83 vibration meter is ideal for pass/fail assessments in product testing, featuring measurement modes for acceleration, velocity, and displacement, along with data storage capabilities. The meter supports automatic evaluation through a built-in comparator. When vibrations exceed a set threshold for a preset duration, it triggers an alarm signal.
The meter can be used to inventory a range of equipment issues—from low-frequency vibrations due to unbalance or misalignment to high-frequency vibrations from bearing faults. The comparator enables pass/fail assessment based on vibration levels.
Each VM-83 includes:
The VE-10 is a portable vibration exciter designed for field-calibration of vibration systems. The VE-10 generates a sinusoidal vibration of 10 m/s2 (rms) in acceleration, 10 mm/s (rms) in velocity, 10 μm (rms) in displacement.
Piezoelectric accelerometer with 5.1 mV/(m/s2) sensitivity.
Accelerometer mounting magnet with M6 stud.
Curl cable (50 to 100 cm) for use with BNC connection sensors.
Input: 100 to 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz, Output: 6 V DC)
The VM-83 is compatible with a wide range of vibration sensors. Contact us to find the sensor best suited to your application.
